I received this product a few days back and promised on Instagram to review it as soon as I can. Well it is non other than MUSE eye brow and lash conditioner and Volumising Mascara. So if you want to know more just keep reading!



If you know me then you will also know that I have very sparse eye brow and lashes. I am always in search for some good eye brow and lash conditioner and growth products. When I received the MUSE product, I was not so sure if this product would really work or not. As I did my research and found that not many people are talking about it. So I gave myself 15 days to actually see visible differences.

This product actually promises to show growth in 15 days. So I gave myself the time to see the difference.

How does it work?
The wand for the lash and brow conditioner is very tiny so that is easy to apply in between the lashes as well as the brows.

Mascara with two extra wands

I personally really loved the lash and brow conditioner. Honestly, I did see a difference. My lashes are a more stronger and more fuller than before! But the mascara which I was having really high hopes with turned me down. This mascara is not waterproof which means it is not "Jeddah proof" because of the amount of humidity here, we surely need  a waterproof mascara to not end up looking like a panda bear! The first day I wore this mascara to work, it smudged all over the place and looked like a mess. The next day I wore it at home and didn't like it because it is not volumising enough to give your lashes a dramatic look. However, If you are someone who likes a natural lash effect then this one should be your next choice.

The eyebrow and lash conditioner is for 125 SAR after discount price. Originally it is for 210 SAR. The mascara is for 75 SAR after discount which was for 100 SAR in the original price.

What is a BB cream?
BB cream stands for Beauty Balm. It has SPF and moisturizer, anti aging properties plus a hint of foundation...in short all in one.



Olay in collaboration with Max factor came up with a moisturizer that has a 'hint of foundation'.



I like this particular BB cream because of it's decent amount of coverage and the quantity as per the price is amazing. I will definitely repurchase this again!


How to use it?
I like to wear this as a moisturizer for my everyday makeup and then just continue with my other makeup products.

I bought mine from Danube supermarket in Jeddah. But you can just find it anywhere nowadays.

 It's been a while since I posted something. So today I am posting the most requested review that everybody has been waiting for. So if you want to know more just keep reading!




I ordered my Bootea a month ago and was waiting  to actually complete the whole course to write a review. I really thought that I would drink it religiously. But actually, in between I skipped few days which is why this post took a while. I often forgot to make it and drink it or sometimes I would come back home from work and would be too lazy to actually make it.


What is Bootea?
Bootea is a tea which is made from all natural herbs, it focuses on removing the bad toxins from your body hence it is detoxifying. It does not promise on any sort of weight loss or whatsoever. But you will see your waistline reducing as some of which is actually bloating!



Where did I get mine and what are the courses?
I got mine online from an Instagram shop named @Bootea_jed. It just took a day to arrive. The Bootea has four courses as mentioned below:

I tried the complete 14 day course and I really felt a difference. Honestly speaking I didn't want to loose weight. The first few days I did not notice any difference. But I kept drinking it. 1. Listerine
Yes, I know...You might be thinking why should I use mouth wash on pimples? Well, in earlier days, Listerine was actually used to treat infections on the body. So all you need to do is dab a little of listerine on your pimple and watch it disappear!




2. Ice Cubes
This is an age old remedy but still works wonders. Just rub an ice cube directly on the pimple. It will not only reduce redness but will also minimize it's appearance!



3. Eye Drops
This is one of my favorite things to do. Just use your eye drops which your doctor recommends you when you have mild eye infection to also use on your pimples. The eye drops have the capability to clear the blood cells thus making the pimple less visible.


4. Tea Tree Oil
I recently purchased this for my nose piercing from The Body Shop for SAR 30. I didn't use it a lot on my piercing as much as I did on my pimples! It works super fast!! It removes the pimple in a day or two but it does leave the mark for a few days.


5. Salicylic Acid
I know it sounds intimidating but you do not have to apply this Acid thing directly on your face. For the matter of fact you actually have to look for a cream which contains salicylic acid. I asked my doctor and she recommended me SALIBET cream which really helps in curing pimples, It also helps in not leaving any marks behind.

I hope you all are doing great... Recently I went into the craze of getting my nose pierced. So I did a lot of research on how to get it done. If you are someone who is interested in getting your nose pierced, then just keep reading!


I live in a place where not every other person is authorized to do piercing as compared to other countries. So I had to actually go to an ENT in one of the polyclinics here in Jeddah. I heard and read lots of people saying that getting a hole with a piercing gun is terrible and it's a regret than getting it done with the needle. But as I wasn't left with a lot of choice I had to go with the piercing gun option.

I went to Al -Abeer polyclinic to get my piercing done. I am someone with 0 pain tolerance. It is terrible I know. But I finally gathered guts to get mine done. So I went to the ENT surgeon there, named DR. Subair (completely forgot his last name). As I went I told him my pain tolerance was very low and he had to work really quick! He asked me to choose from a number of studs and I choose a clear one. No you cannot buy gold or silver stud when getting a hole with this gun. We have to compulsorily wear the cosmetic stud which is often used for ears.

So, he just took a alcohol swab to clean any excess oil there and then used some numbing spray. He then marked the spot where the piercing would be and after my approval he just took the gun inserted the stud and in a fraction of second pierced my nose! On a scale of 1-10 (1 being less pain and 10 being the worst pain), I would say it was 3. The pain was very faint almost nothing.

I asked him when to really change the stud and how to maintain it, he told me I could change it after 10-15 days. When I came home, in the evening it was hurting a little because I guess the numbing spray was leaving its effect. I took a pain killer and slept. But thank god it wasn't something major. The same evening I went to buy tea tree oil from body shop and got one and used it with a clean q-tip. It hurt a little as the tea tree oil has alcohol and I couldn't sleep at night then.


 So I would suggest just leave it there to do it's thing. Don't go all over with all the tactics and tips you see. But here are some do's and don'ts for you to remember:

DONT's:

1. DO NOT touch your stud when it is fresh. For one whole week. Try to keep your hands away from your nose as much as possible.

2. DO NOT use any kind of alcohol to clean it. Be it rubbing alcohol, the alcohol swabs or perfume. It will just irritate it further.

3. DO NOT use face wash on your nose. The more the product gets into your nose hole the more time it will take to heal.

4. DO NOT change the stud for as long as 10-15 days or as recommended by your doctor.

5. DO NOT use makeup as long as you can. You want to keep all the foundations and other makeup products from getting into it.


DO's:

1. DO use a skin cleaner, I got mine from boots pharmacy 5 SAR. This removes all excess oil and it does not have alcohol in it.

2. DO cover your pillow with a clean shirt before sleeping to prevent any bacteria from getting on your skin.

3. DO use a anti bacterial cream like FUCIDINE which is  also anti-biotic so it will help if there is any infection or whatsoever that is starting to grow inside.


4. DO use a clean cotton bud to apply the above cream or another recommended by your doctor in and outside the nose.

5. DO use the old method of cutting a neem leave pin and using it as a stud in case the cosmetic stud
doesn't make you comfortable.

6. DO keep twisting the nose stud 2-3 days after the piercing. It will help in removing any product build up and also allowing the stud to make it's place.

7. DO invest time in getting it done from a professional rather than trying it at home.

How much did the whole procedure cost?

The whole thing was just for 30 SAR. The insurance however does not cover it. You can get the creams in insurance though, which in regular price is for 23 SAR.

I don't know about you but ya, I did wear these! Back in the day this was a huge trend! It has come back again with a bang! I have seen Youtubers like Michelle Phan and Teen star Kylie Jenner rocking these around. It looks best when layered with other necklaces.


6. Crop Tops
This is again one of the trends which came sooner than the others. This trend was definitely a hit in Hollywood but we even saw Bollywood actresses like Kareena Kapoor Khan and Rani Mukherji wearing such tops in their old movies, well guys...this has come back...so if you still have a crop top from those days you can use it again ;)




7. Voluminous Hair
90's was all about big voluminous hair and so is this year! All you need is your hair ofcourse, a comb and lots and lots of hair spray and Voila! You are back in 90's!



8. Circle Glasses
You may have seen lots of people pulling this trend off nowadays. It is wearing these circular shaped glasses. Dior came up with one such style and the rest is a history. It does not suit everyone though. But for people it does suit....you are very lucky!

What is it?
Batiste is a brand of dry shampoo which is basically a powder form of shampoo and you can just spray this on your roots and massage it to remove all the greasiness and prolong your hair hairstyle without washing it.


Why Batiste?
I have used a ton of different dry shampoos in the past and liked few of those too. But dry shampoos often have a white color which can be seen even if you rub it well on your roots. But Batiste has cool concept of having colored dry shampoos. So the powder that comes out is the same color as your hair. They have for almost all hair colors which is really cool!! Apart from the color, these ones have a really refreshing smell aswell. Even on days when I have freshly washed my hair, I still use it to give that extra smell and freshness.
